The forensic psychiatrist may be called upon to act in a manner that balances competing duties to the person and the society at large.

The reason of having these experts is so that they can help the magistrates and associated branches to craft conclusions. They may step up and interview the child and give back what they have analyzed. They are the experts trusted with the responsibility of determining if the child is mentally okay to get trials at juvenile courts and in case certain emotional or physical trauma has damaged the kid. The reason for this is examine but they do not provide cure.

Sometimes issues may arise when the forensic and clinical roles are not well stipulated. This happens when a clinical psychiatrist may decide to take up the role of forensic expert towards a patient. The clinical expert may violate confidentiality and harm the child interest for revealing personal materials that is damaging. If they choose to do so, they are violating their ethical obligation.

Reviewing and taking care of a child varies in different hospitals such as those with high safety measures to secure medium ones, imprisonment centers and community at large. After review, the specialists offer counsel to applicable powers and the youngster. The specialists need to be aware of the immoral case at hand. When the deeds of the youngster are posing dangers, they get relocated to settings with more protected and advanced but have to be authorized by the child psychiatrist.

The fundamental part of the task is risking reviewing. After reviewing, they manage the children at risk of urgent and scheduled situations, those joining up with the rest and being part of the greater multi disciplinary squad.
