Relieve Pain Through Energy Medicine

By Walter Gray

The human form can be a complex matter. Each one is different and curing ailments may vary from one individual to another. Sometimes health care practitioners may not see this right away and prescribe treatments that bring side effects first. If there are no immediate results, their solution is normally to give a higher dose. When choosing an energy medicine specialist, the problem area is worked on and not masked in medicine.

This alternative medicine technique dates back to early Eastern culture and can be used to heal a number of ailments that are emotional and physical. It can also used as an aid for complicated medical procedures. However, many are using this as a form of pain management with much success.

Good health starts with a strong immune system, which is something that many do not realize. After coming in contact with different people and toxic air throughout the day, the body can be compromised. When this is ongoing, there is high risk for infection, pain and emotional fatigue. Eventually it becomes difficult to fight off colds, flu or other airborne illness.

Sometimes feelings of tiredness tend to be linked to matters of the heart or mind. For some, anxiety may become so crippling that it prevents productivity and affects normal sleeping patterns. A person may not be able to get decent rest or oversleep. Prescribed pain medication may only provide a temporary relief but is not intended as a permanent fix.

This type of treatment works with persons of various age groups and is becoming the choice for those who want to transition from pills. Of the many different types of alternative medicine, there are even more in energy treatment, like energy psychology. It is compared to acupuncture but does not use needles but pressure points are stimulated, or tapped, so that the senses are restored. A practitioner may use one of many different methods.

Some of the formats used go under the name of Emotional Freedom Techniques or Thought Field Therapy. Although licensed mental health professionals practice this, life coaches and social workers have also used this to help their clients with emotional matters. It can also be used as part of a pain management regimen.

The art of stimulating the senses, or points in the body, can be used to heal or restore energy that is lost when the body begins to break down. This can be attributed to poor diet, lack of exercise or even the positioning during work hours. Often equipment and furnishings are not aligned for every body type or the repetitive motion. While some businesses may use ergonomics for better productivity, this may not be enough when it comes to preventing parts of the body from shutting down. An energy specialist or alternative medicine practitioner can give a fair analysis for each individual case.

For these reasons and many others, people are turning to alternative therapy for their health issues. There are no side effects to slow a person down nor is addiction likely to occur. With more studies that support its effectiveness, more physicians are finding that even using as a form of complementary medicine makes a big difference in the well being of their patients.
